On Wednesday August 9th Lisa Palfi lost her battle to cancer, she fought long and hard with strength and grace. Lisa will be remembered for her witty personality along with her infectious laugh, she was a dedicated mother, daughter, partner, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, cousin and best friend. She always greeted you with a loving smile which never dimmed even through her most difficult battle. Her generosity was beyond measure.
Many have asked how they can honour Lisa's memory with flowers, donations etc. As you are aware the financial burden of fighting cancer for 3 years is immense. Lisa was laid off from her company prior to her diagnosis and was left with no life insurance.
As her brother and Uncle to my nephew’s I believe the most appropriate and heartfelt way to honour my sister’s memory is to support her two children John and James through our Go Fund Me Fundraiser.
Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us every day unseen, unheard, but always near still loved, still missed and very dear
