Liam's Fight to Walk Again
Donation protected
Hi,
My name name is Liam, my parents are Malcolm and Alicia. I am the most loving and energetic ball of fur you would ever want to meet. Early Saturday morning, I began limping on my right hind leg for no apparent reason (I was still as happy as ever), but Mom and Dad thought some rest and sleep that night would help me feel better.
On Sunday morning, I woke up and couldn't feel my hind legs at all, I wasn't able to stand, and could only put weight on my front legs...both of my hind legs were completely paralyzed!
My parents wrapped me up and rushed me to an emergency vet where we found out I have a herniated disc that is causing me to be paralyzed. Without surgery, I only have a 20 percent chance to walk again. My Mom and Dad were able to find an orthopedic surgeon that will perform surgery, but over the last week the bills have begun to pile up for them. Including my overnight hospital stays, doctors visits, and MRI, it has been very expensive.
I am going to have the surgery performed as soon as possible (I'm pretty scared but, don't want my back to hurt anymore). My family loves me and they are doing all they can to help me, and any donation that you could provide would mean the world to us and all that love and care about me (I really just want to run and play again).
Thank you,
Loving pup named Liam!
