Help Me Present at a Conference

Hi everyone,
Recently, I was accepted to attend a conference in Salt Lake City, Utah called SACNAS (Advancing Chicanos/Hispanic & Native Americans in Science). http://sacnas.org/
In addition to attending, I was given the opportunity present my year-long research on a rare disease called ROHHAD.
Throughout this past year, with the resources provided to me by Lurie Children’s Hospital and their Center of Autonomic Medicine, I have been able to advance studies and gain further knowledge on this quite unknown disease.
At the conference not only will I be able to present my work, but I will be able to immerse myself in an atmosphere whose mission is to foster the growth of scientists in all different phases in their career, in order to make sure true diversity is represented in the STEM fields.
With all that being said, I would be responsible to cover the travel and lodging costs, thus making it more difficult to attend. I am hoping that through your help I will be able to raise money in order to attend this conference which I was given the opportunity to be a part of.
Costs:
395 registration fee
300 air fee
700 lodging
100 Airport shuttles
= $ 1,495

Recientemente, fui aceptado para asistir a una conferencia en Salt Lake City, Utah llamada SACNAS (Advancing Chicanos / Hispanic & Native Americans in Science). Además de asistir, me dieron la oportunidad de presentar mi investigación de un año de duración sobre una enfermedad rara llamada ROHHAD.
A lo largo del año pasado, con los recursos que me proporcionaron el Lurie Children's Hospital y su Centro de Medicina Autonómica, he podido avanzar en estudios y adquirir más conocimientos sobre esta enfermedad bastante desconocida.
En la conferencia no sólo podré presentar mi trabajo, sino que podré sumergirme en una atmósfera cuya misión es fomentar el crecimiento de los científicos en todas las fases de su carrera, para asegurar que la verdadera diversidad sea Representados en los campos STEM (sciencia, technologia,engeneria,y matematicas).
Con todo lo dicho, yo sería responsable de cubrir los gastos de viaje y alojamiento, por lo que es más difícil asistir. Espero que con su ayuda pueda recaudar dinero para asistir a esta conferencia a la que me dieron la oportunidad de ser parte.
