Leonard Button was a teacher in the truest sense of the word.
He saw potential in those students that few others believed in, and worked with them relentlessly to help them believe in themselves. He touched countless lives, helping hundreds of students transcend the worst of circumstances to reach their fullest potential.
Upon his passing, the Button Family felt there was no better way to honour his memory than to establish the Leonard Button Memorial Scholarship Fund. 100% of the funds received will be used to award an annual scholarship to a high school graduate from Jane Collins Academy that has over come the odds, displaying perseverance in achieving their full potential.
