Len passed away unexpectedly on September 27th, 2016, at the age of 69. Loving father of Joe, Tim and Caeton, grandfather of Logan, Aiden and Stella; beloved brother of Dan. Also survived by his mother, Carmel.
Len’s love for his his 3 sons could only be rivaled by his love for his parents, Frank and Carmel. In Frank and Carmel's later years, both were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimers is a chronic neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and worsens over time, causing memory loss and cognitive decline. Nothing saddened Len more than watching his parents fight the un-winnable battle of this heart-wrenching condition. Carmel is currently still fighting this disease and requires costly, around the clock, Skilled Care.
