One year ago, the idea of a social network for learning - Learninate - was put into action. This passion project of an elementary school teacher sought to address the failings of current online learning opportunities and level the virtual playing field of E-Learning.
Through the generosity of friends and supporters, about $1000 was raised. This funded the creation of the site and basic maintenance for a year.
