It all began in the spring of 2013.  I was bit by 2 ticks and shortly after, began experiencing physical symptoms that I thought were due to the flu and just working long hours.  Then I began having shooting pain, tingling, and burning sensations in my legs and stabbing back pain. It came to the point that I could not sleep or I would wake  in the middle of the night with cramps in my legs and feet.  I would sit in my bed and just cry in pain.  While at work I was not be able to concentrate, my short term memory was not reliable and I had trouble completing a sentence. Then there was the debilitating dizziness.  I got to where I would run my finger along the wall in order to keep my balance, hoping that noone would notice that I could barely stand up.  By October, I had been to the ER numerous times with the results always being the same.  The doctors would run test after test and not knowing what was going on with me and test results all coming back normal, they would send me home with painkillers.  The ER visit in October, as I was being released with yet another prescription for pain medication, I was desperate to find out why I had gone from being an energetic, independent and vibrant woman to being unable to get out of bed, unable to lift my arms high enough to wash dishes, unable to remember names of my closest relatives.  I asked the doctor if it could be something from bug bites.  She said she would draw more blood and run some tests.
4 days later I received the results.  I was positive for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.  I was given a 10 day dose of Doxycycline and told I would be fine.  I took the Doxy and quickly after began having the same symptoms and more.  In February 2013, I could no longer work due to debilitating fatigue and excruciating pain.  I went home and collected short term disability for 6 months, while doctor after doctor just kept prescribing more medications without a diagnosis.
I have tested negative 3 times for the the one strain of Lyme Disease that conventional labs test for.  I have numerous symptoms consistent with Lyme and possibly Babesia and Bartonella (all of which are tick borne diseases).  Since I cannot afford to pay out of pocket, with no income now, I cannot see a Lyme Literate doctor to be properly tested and treated.
I am asking for financial help.  I need $500 in order to receive the proper testing, and $300 per visit with an Lyme Literate doctor for treatment, and approximately $300 per month to purchase medications and supplements.  None of this is covered by my insurance.
If I do not receive treatment, my health will continue to get worse.

If you can donate to help me get my health back I would be so grateful!  I also ask if you could share this post.
Thank you and God bless you all.
