My Aunt is one of the hardest working people I know and does not let bumps in the road stop her from venturing on. After losing her job in the economic downturn, she returned to school and reinvented herself to support her family. Shortly after she endured the removal of a brain tumor in 2014, continuing to work through the painful symptoms and recovery. She got a second job to help pay for the endlessly accumulating medical bills and thought the path could only get smoother from there. At the beginning of 2015, the news of a volleyball sized tumor in her abdomen (needing to be immediately removed) meant another set back and more medical bills. Then the worst outcome she could have heard was smacked on top of it all, she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
Aunt Laura started chemotherapy just following recovering from her tumor removal and continues to be the supermom and hardworking entrepreuner she is. From chemo treatments Laura goes straight to supporting her son at his high school baseball games as well as making sure she gets her work completed with the same efficiency and on time. Despite every effort she could possibly make, the medical bills are mounting. Please help my Aunt kick this cancer's booty and allow her to continue being the amazing mother she is, without the monetary stress.
