Lincoln Middle School Choir of Berwyn, IL has a tremendous opportunity to participate in the America
Sings Festival in Washington DC this May!
America Sings inspires young people involved in the arts to use their time and talents to help others. The festival is a celebration of song and service! The children spend a weekend performing music, hearing other choirs from around the country, making sandwiches for homeless shelters, and preparing snack kits for Ronald McDonald House. At the conclusion of the festival, the participants stage their spectacular Massed-Choir Finale Celebration! The participants celebrate their music and their knowledge that they have the power to make a difference in their world! This is a very powerful experience for young people! The students who participate are transformed by their experience.
We would very much like to offer this opportunity to all the students in the choir. However, it is very difficult for some of our students to afford such a trip. Your sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. You can make a huge difference in the lives of these students and in doing so, give them the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of others!
