The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Adopt-A-Floor program visits the hospital’s 6thfloor to provide a variety of games and entertainment to the youth patients as they await or undergo treatment.
Volunteer activities include arts & crafts, board games, themed parties, music, and assisting entertainers in putting on a show. Children can come to the activity room to participate, or may need to be engaged by volunteers who travel room-to-room distributing invitations to join the fun. Children vary in age from 3-18, and suffer from a range of conditions.
