Kris goes abroad for doc experience

Like most, I’ve always been a fan of the movies. It wasn’t until my transfer to California State University, East Bay that I was exposed to the world of documentary film. It was then that I decided that I didn’t want to simply produce media, I wanted to be a storyteller.

Documentary film holds the power to not only entertain but to educate, inform and call to action. In my opinion it is the most powerful and effective form of journalism.

During the month long stay in London, I'll not only be learning about documentary history and tradition but will also be creating a documentary film.

This experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity and with your help, one that I'll remember forever .
