Helping Hands for the Klaus House

My name is William and I suffer from a rare disease, Dercum's Disease, also known as Adiposis Dolorosa.  It has left me unable to work and facing substantial medical bills. Additionally, my wife had to have multiple surgeries to remove skin cancer lesions and will require more surgery soon. After suffering a fall resulting in a traumatic brain injury, she is experiencing exacerbated symptoms of her bipolar disorder. I was always a hard working guy, but Dercum's has literally taken the legs out from under me. Once I supported my family as a successful breadwinner and attorney. Now we rely on the wages my wife earns to supplement disability payments. I have tried to get a loan on my home, but things have bogged down due to stricter lending laws and the fees are incredibly expensive - the loan process has actually cost us money with no benefit. We need money to catch up on medical bills and pay for those we know are coming. We are in danger of losing our car and/or home. Appliances are on their last legs. I need the car to get to medical appointments and being in a rural area, just to get groceries. We could use your help right away. I always thought that I would be able to provide for my family and stand on my own feet. It is not easy for me to ask for this help - especially when I see the dire straits others are experiencing. But desperate times require desperate measures. Getting these bills knocked down can help us make a fresh start on a level footing.
