It is with great sadness the family of Kirk Emil Dorsey announces his passing after being fatally shot in an unjust homicide on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the age of 60 years.
A native of East Liverpool, OH, Kirk spent the first half of his career with Homer Laughlin China before starting his own contracted finishes and renovations company, KED Painting, in Atlanta.
Kirk will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Randi, Kira (Alan), and Rachel, and his partner of 10 years, Thom Bogan. Kirk will also be fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren, Tyson, Tanaysia, Paris, Darian, Dominie, Bryce, Arik, Ethan; by his sister, Cherie Copeland, and family. Kirk was predeceased by his father, William, his mother, Mabel, his sister, Joan, and his brother, William “Bill Boy.”
In lieu of gifts, the family asks for monetary donations to be made towards the cost of his cremation and memorial services.
