Kienna and Sam Adam's Stolen Life
Donation protected
My niece Kienna and her husband Sam were robbed while they were moving from Calgary to Vancouver Island. They had their two beautiful little boys and all of their life's goods packed into a U-haul trailer and stopped overnight in Kamloops, BC. When they got up in the morning the U-haul was gone. Police found it later but almost everything was stolen or damaged. Sam's electrician tools and all of his work supplies were taken, their clothes, their home furnishings, boxes of important papers, their shoes, and even their keepsakes are gone! The things that were not taken were broken or otherwise destroyed as the theives riped things appart looking for valuables. Heirloom pieces of jewelry, precious baby mementos, keepsakes and treasures that are irreplacable were in boxes that were taken. Estimated losses are 25K. Their insurance company has told them that they will be able to recover some of the losses, but only if they have receipts. Boxes with important documents like birth certificates and medical records are missing. Sam has receipts for his tools, but other receipts may all be gone as well.
They just got married a few weeks ago! This move was to be the beginning of their new life together. Now they are facing the prospects of starting again from scratch. Kienna asked for prayers, but it's going to take some "faith in action" to help this family recover. Please join me in sparing a few dollars for them. They will have to replace everything. Some things like mementos and keepsakes will be gone for good, but hopefully our efforts can resore their faith in humanity and lessen the cruel blow of what has happened.
