My Journey to Miss Universe Canada

Hi there! My name is Kelsey Baile, and I am one of over 50 delegates selected to participate in the Miss Universe Canada Pageant!
I am a drama instructor at the Grande Prairie Live Theatre. I teach children 7-14 drama, but I also teach them trust, public speaking, hard work and confidence.
It is so important for the children of Grande Prairie to have a place where they can be themselves. They can be silly, or serious or whatever they want to be, and know that they are loved and supported.
I am raising money to participate in the pageant so that I will have a platform to be a role model to young girls across the country. I want to speak out about bullying and body positivity. I want to show young women out there that you are beautiful no matter what.
The pageant costs $3885 to participate. This cost does not include the monthly trips to Calgary for training, or my flight to and from Toronto for the pageant.
The pageant costs need to be paid by the end of March.
I would love to have the opportunity to be a role model for young women. To speak about my experience with bullying and body shaming. To tell all girls that they are more than just beautiful.
Any contributions would mean so much to me. It would help me be able to continue on my journey. I am so excited to be able to express my opinions and my story on television that will be broadcasted around the world. I hope that I can make a difference.
