Keisha lost her battle with Sickle Cell in January 2015 leaving behind two beautiful teen-aged children. She was a wonderful and courageous single mom that was not only dedicated to her children, but was also a contributing figure in her home town of Scotch Plains. She was a true blessing to me, and anyone that may have crossed her path.
There was never a time she wasn't wearing a smile, even if her illness may be getting the better of her that day. An upbeat, positive, strong role model that came from a close-knit family that loved and supported one another; a family that will be working together once again for the well being of the two children Keisha left behind!
