Save 300 Cats from Torrential Rain

Donation protected
The TORENTIAL RAINS have begun! Kitties are already suffering and we urgently need to provide the hundreds of homeless, stray and abandoned kitties we care for with more rain shelters! California has been hit with the first round of terrible storms that are predicted to be just the beginning of what may be the rainiest California winter in 70 years due to the 'El Nino' ocean warming phenomenon.   The many stray kitties who survive on the streets of Anaheim are not accustomed to rain and they are already suffering and at risk of hypothermia and death. We have just built and placed over 30 winter shelters and covered feeding stations, but we are still far from our goal of 100 shelters and 50 feeding stations. Can you help us keep the kitties safe and dry? Supplies for each shelter costs us  $37 and each feeding station costs us  $30. Every shelter we can provide eases suffering and saves lives! No donation is too small!   Thank you so much for your kindness!

More Information:
Our cat rescue organization, ‘Anaheim Fix Project’ spays/neuters and helps  to care for over 300 community cats in more than 30 locations around Orange County.  We have volunteers who are ready to create over 100 winter rain shelters and 50 protected feeding stations, but we need funds to purchase the supplies. The rains are here and we are scared for the kitties, many of whom are already suffering from upper respiratory illnesses from this unusually cold California winter.  When cats can’t escape the rain, they quickly develop deadly hypothermia. Can you help us keep the kitties alive this winter?   No donation is too small! Thank you so much for your kindness!

The Anaheim Fix Project is dedicated to healing the stray cat crisis of Orange County. We spay/neuter, feed and rescue homeless cats and kittens and we fight for the rights of these innocent creatures.  We were instrumental in convincing the city of Anaheim to change a cruel law that had banned the feeding of stray cats.  We are now helping the city develop humane community cat policies and programs.  For more information about us please visit our Facebook page!

Note:  If we are fortunate enough to raise more funds than we need for the shelters and feeding stations, we will use 100% of the additional funds for veterinary care for needy, sick and injured kitties.

Thnk you for caring about kitties!   Your love and kindness saves lives!
