NASA Internship Fund

My name is Keenan Chatar and I was fortunately selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 2018 NASA International Internship Program (NASA I2). 

For the past 4 years, NIHERST has sponsored selected students to attend this program - covering expenses such as program fee, student visa, lodging, etc. Unfortunately, NIHERST cannot support this expense this year. This is an amazing opportunity for myself and my country, so I am exhausting every option I can. Currently, I require approximately USD $16,631. However, I am kindly asking persons for any support that they are willing to give as any contribution is a step towards achieving my goal.

I received my Bachelor's Degree and I am currently reading for my Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of the West Indies. If I am able to attend this internship, I will conduct research in “On-Demand Manufacturing in Space” which involves developing printing electronics such as printing sensors, supercapacitors, and memory devices. I then hope to use my knowledge and skills gained to educate others, contribute to research and overall positively contribute to the development of STEM in Trinidad and Tobago. 

Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Even if the goal isn't met, I am willing to put as much as I can out of my personal funds to participate in this opportunity.
