Kauai Floods KGEFCU DISASTER RELIEF

KGEFCU FLOOD RELIEF FUNDS The Hawaiian island of Kauai was ravaged by severe flooding that destroyed homes, roads, vehicles, and left hundreds stranded without water or electricity.
Mayor Carvalho has declared a state of emergency.  
KGE Federal Credit Union employees deployed a disaster relief team and started this GOFUNDME to help the island in the immediate aftermath.  
We will be donating supplies to victims of the floods including basic necessities, food and water, much needed materials, and helping the community rebuild in the aftermath of the destruction.  All funds will go directly to the community to meet the most immediate needs first and the next stage of needs a they arise.

Kauai Government Employees FCU is a not-for-profit local credit union on Kauai.  The team of employees have been on the ground daily working tirelessly to help with Kauai’s destruction.  ALL PROCEEDS go toward those families who have suffered loss or damaged property, immediate needs of the community such as gas for the cut off communities and for the local boats who were immediately transporting goods in the cut-off areas and evacuating people, transporting food and donations around the island to drop zones, water pumps for displaced families in the cut off areas to get back into their houses ASAP, power banks for the families without electricity to keep their phones charged so they can keep in contact with loved ones and in case of emergencies, housing and supplies for displaced families, support to the local businesses heavily impacted by the floods,  and/or other immediate needs as they arise.  We have friends and contacts on the ground in the affected areas and are ensuring all items are distributed based on immediate needs and directly impacting the displaced families and flooded community.
