Wildfire Relief

I am a victim of the California Wild Fires.   I am safe and healthy but need to fix my place and help others do the same.  anyhow here is my story.

I'm not big on the holidays as alot of my friends know I usually distance myself for personal reasons, but this year I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for waking up the morning of the fire to use the bathroom and instead of crawling back in bed and ignoring the dogs barking which is what I was literally about to do but for some reason decided to look out the window and check what all the noise is about. I pulled back the curtain of my bedroom window and expected to see the sun blaring down on me but instead was greated by a huge thick black wall of smoke that was about to swallow not just my home but the entire hill. It was at this moment I knew it was time to get moving , I quickly put on some clothes and woke up my friends son who was staying at my house. I started going over what I needed to get loaded in my truck , I told my friends son to  load up the dogs and cats while I loaded up everything I could think of and then ran to get my chainsaws , gas cans and generator after all that was in the truck I hitched my boat to my truck and last but not least I left a note for firefighters that my water tank was full with over 3,500 gallons of water and is equipped with a fire house coupling for them to connect their hose to and I hit the road. Driving out was like being in a movie seeing fire all around us and so much smoke combined with sounds of peoples propane tanks exploding it was like I was in a war zone. Making it out without any evacuation warning makes me thankful to be here. I have been living out of my truck for the duration of the fire. my trucks interior was destroyed while helping my neighbors by a nervous dog literally destroyed the roof interior pulled out both airbags and wires that control electrical systems in my truck. I am still living in my truck after returning home because my house is not currently livable,  yes my home survived being burned down but is damaged none the less , I am truly blessed to have a home and a vehicle but I am without a way to  fix either obstacle that has presented itself it is extremely difficult and hard for me to ask for help and I feel vulnerable , it is truly humbling even though my closest friends continually remind me how much I have done to help others in terrible situations but now being on the other side needing help is extremely humbling . My friends made this GoFundMe when the fire first started but I was reluctant to go with it especially since I did not know weather or not I had a home or the extent of the help I would require if any. My truck is very important to me as it's the only way I am able to see my son and safely drive him from A to B without it I would no longer be able to see my son . I am completely overwhelmed as the fire destroyed my way of earning $$ and I am doing whatever I can to keep my head above water. I have been denied help from fema and literally have nowhere else to turn so here I am taking my friends advice. Any and all help is appreciated if you know anyone that can help with the work on my truck or willing to work with me that is a huge help , as far as my home my floors are destroyed and untill they are ripped out and replaced kitchen/dining room the house is not completely livable. It wont take much to do the work to my house but like my truck I lack the money to do these things on my own , I just wanna get back to life before the fire and it is next to impossible to do this alone I feel defeated and if it wasnt for the people in my life keeping me going I dont know what I would do
