My name is Kevin Burnside Jr, I’m 28 years old from Little Falls, New York. I born with Spina Bifida, I am recently a bilateral below knee amputee.

Adaptive sports are my life!!! My first love was wheelchair basketball, I have ventured into other adaptive sports, but I grew fond of Nordic Skiing and Biathlon.

I had my first ever competition at nationals’18 for cross country skiing and biathlon, where I must use a sit ski, due to my disability. I had an amazing time and absolutely loved it, I even enjoy it more than wheelchair basketball.

I am working toward my biggest goal of making the Paralympic team for Nordic skiing. I am asking for donations to help with my travel cost, equipment, and competition. I greatly appreciate all donations and will use all funds fully and will give my all in every competition I do.

I will keep you updated through out my journey with posts and cards as I make my way to the Paralympic Team.
