On May 31st my daughter was leaving work at Jewel (essential worker) and was trying to help an older woman who was in an altercation due to the looting when the officers shoved her to the ground ripped her pants and broke her phone. Here in this video you see my daughter enraged and after all, was said and done to her she snapped and this was the result. I DO NOT CONDONE HER ACTIONS BUT I KNOW MY F******  KID AND SHE WOULD NEVER EVER HURT ANYONE. She wasn’t even part of the protest just trying to be a Good Samaritan and this is the result. I have been waiting to hear from her and finally, when u do she’s got a black eye lots of bumps and bruises, she’s being sexually harassed and she is being treated extremely badly in the cook county jail because of course, they protect their own. My kid has never in her life been in trouble and doesn’t deserve the treatment she’s getting. She hasn’t eaten, her clothes are all ripped up from being roughed up and she’s asked for a blanket several times or something to cover herself up with and she had been denied. They told me that they released her but that was a lie. She’s in cook county right now scared hungry and cold. Please please please help and support any way you can. Thank You!
