On February 17, 2018 my sisters family dog Max was intentionally poisoned by food laced with ethylene glycol or commonly known as antifreeze, that was thrown into the backyard of their home. Max was taken to Wilson’s Veterinary Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Max did not survive the poisoning. His kidneys shut down from the poisoning, causing him death on February 18, 2018. Max was just short of 8 years old and full of life.

Max’s untimely death left his 15 year old human sister devastated at the loss of her nothing but loving furbrother. Max death also hits hard for his human brother who is proudly serving our country in the Airforce, he was not able to be there with Max as Max passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. He is devastated by the loss as we all are.

Shetook the food that was found in the yard to MSU diagnostic lab for testing and the results came back as being very positive for ethylene glycol. Prompting a criminal investigation by Clinton Twp Police dept.

Since we believe this horrible act against Max was intentional, we are trying to raise money for a reward to encourage anyone with information about this heinous crime to come forward.

If you have any information regarding Max, please contact Detective Anderson with the Clinton Twp Police Department at [phone redacted]
