Jersey Shore SD Team Spyke is competing at VEX Robotics World Competition!
The Team Spyke VEX Robotics Team, composed of Ryan Stratton and Nash Berfield have qualified for the VEX Robotics World Competition. The competition is held April 19-22, 2017 in Louisville, KY. This is the first year that the district has competed in the VEX arena. They have the opportunity to compete against more than 500 teams from around the globe.
While their tremendous success is not a surprise, qualification for the World Competition was only a dream. That dream has come to fruition, along with the bills associated with registration, travel, lodging and of course, robot parts. The small budget allocated for this program has been used for both local and state level competitions.
In order to fulfill their aspiration of representing Jersey Shore School District at this premier STEM event, we are asking for financial support, in any amount, to help offset the costs.
We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent Jersey Shore School District and the state of Pennsylvania at this high level of competition!
