Josiah's Medical Care -A1A Deficiency Genetic Liver Disease
Donation protected
Update for everyone:
Josiah is now in Decompensated Liver Failure and his care needs are extensive. He has 2-3 appointments per week for blood work and to see his specialists. The private insurance he is now on only covers a small percentage of his medical bills and medications.
Sharing the campaign is the only way for us to reach as many people as possible and raise funds for his care.
We understand not everyone can donate and that is completely understood. A share on social media is just as good as a donation. No donation is too small and every dollar counts. Please share his direct link if you're able. We are so grateful for all of you. Thank you. Gofundme.com/JosiahBean

Help Josiah Get Life-Saving Medical Care
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help. Our beloved son, Josiah, a vibrant 24-year-old with his whole life ahead of him, has recently been diagnosed with Severe Liver Disease and is close to complete Liver Failure. This devastating diagnosis has turned his and our world upside down, and now, ongoing medical care and eventual liver transplant is a necessity.
Despite his young age, Josiah has faced this challenge with incredible courage and determination. The road ahead is daunting, both medically and financially. The costs associated with this type of ongoing medical care and transplant—including care for the management and progression of this disease, continuing blood tests for monitoring conditions, pre- and post-surgical care, medications, travel to and from specialized medical facilities —are overwhelming. Unfortunately, insurance alone does not cover all these expenses.
We are humbly asking for your support during this critical time. Whether it’s a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply keeping Josiah in your thoughts and prayers, every gesture of kindness matters. Your generosity can give Josiah a second chance at life and allow him to continue dreaming, thriving, and sharing his light with the world.
How Your Donations Will Help:
Medical Costs: Surgeries, hospital stays, and medications.
Travel and Lodging: Frequent trips to his medical specialists, PCPs and eventually the transplant center
Pre and Post-Operative Care: Rehabilitation and follow-up appointments.
No amount is too small, and every contribution gets us one step closer. Please consider helping us spread the word by sharing this page with your networks. Together, we can make a miracle happen.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness and generosity mean everything to us and to Josiah.
With gratitude,
Josiah's Family
