On March 21, 2015 I received a call no mother should receive. My 23 year old son Josh had been shot and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. My son was an innocent victim of a violent crime in Chicago. This tragedy is currently under investigation. While I would love to share more details, due to security reasons I cannot at this time.
Josh is an amazing young man with a smile and embrace that is contagious. He is currently fighting the battle of his life. With the love, support, and prayers of family and friends we are confident that he will be victorious.
Josh was 10th in State for Cross County when he attended Schurz high school. Josh loves to dance and was selected to be Mr. Puerto Rico in 2009 in Chicago. Josh has many people who love him which include his siblings. Josh is a loving uncle that plays video games or does whatever it takes to make a child happy. This family is devastated and looking for understanding and justice during these difficult times.
Josh has a very long road ahead of him with many uncertainties.
I am appealing to you, my family and friends to please donate to Josh’s Go Fund Me campaign. This money will be used to cover medical expenses and needs. I know times are lean right now. If you cannot donate right now can you please like and share this campaign.
I also ask for continued prayers for his recovery and that justice be served in this violent crime.
