Hello Everyone!
Our beloved Jermaine Junior has Progressive Spinal Multiple Sclerosis. It is a very aggressive form of MS. At this point, he is unable to walk and his vision, as well as his speech has rapidly declined. He also has difficulty feeding himself. A CNA comes over daily to bathe and dress him. Because he is unable to walk, he has to be hoyer lifted to the bed, shower, livingroom, etc.. Although Jermaine is not dying, he has been placed on Hospice because the MS is not being treated, the symptoms of the MS are being treated, therefore he requires more care. Unfortunately, as of right now, there is no drug for Progressive MS. Due to Jermaine's chronic muscle spasms, a baclofen pump has been placed inside of him for pain management. He often has to go to the doctor to get the pump turned up and/or refilled. We are reaching out because he is currently in need of a medical conversion van to get to doctor's appointments and visit family and friends. With all that Jermaine is going through, he still remains in great spirits. Please help him reach his goal before the winter hits. Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
