WE’RE BACK!!!
Hello everyone! Due to the amount of overwhelming support and encouragement we received after Sunday’s banner flight (we got the entire nation's attention ) it became quite clear that a large portion of the 49er fan base wants to keep up the pressure. Let’s do it again!
GOAL: To fly another banner over the next home game. On December 20th at 5:30 PM the 49ers are playing the Cincinnati Bengals. The banner will carry Jed York’s phrasing from the 12/29/2014 press conference in which they fired Jim Harbaugh. HOLD JED ACCOUNTABLE
NEW BANNER: We would like to raise enough money to order a custom banner that we can fly MULTIPLE times over the coming weeks. We want to fly it over the final two home games, the Super Bowl festivities in San Francisco and possibly even the Super Bowl. The coming away game in Cleveland is also an option. The banner will be more visible. It will cost $1,500. Below is a rendering of it.
CHARITY: Last time we set up the GoFundMe we received the entirety of the money we needed in less than a week. This time around many more people are aware of our campaign and want to help out. We have been given a great opportunity to not only voice our displeasure with Jed York but to also give back to the community. This round of fundraising we are setting out to raise enough money for the banner($1,500 to make it and $1,024 to fly it) as well as a $1,000 donation for the Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley chapter. Habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization that helps build homes for locals in need. Jed will see the banner and the world will see what class acts the Niner Faithful really are!
