James Burdens Funeral Fund
This go fund me page is to help with James Burdens funeral costs. Also to help james's youngest son Luke Burden who is 17 also for future care and vetinary bills for james's much loved dog 'Lady' who is only 5 years old.
James was diagnosed on the 6th september unexpectedly with cancer of the lungs and brain which spread rapidly to the lymph nodes, internal organs and bones. On the 25th of October he had an operation on his brain to try and remove one of the tumours.
The doctors told James before the operation that if he did not go ahead with the procedure he would only have 2 months to live. The operation went as well as they expected but he was left with partial vision and lost the use of his left arm.
A week after his operation he had radio therapy to try and shrink the remaining tumours on the brain which has helped to prolong his life. Unfortunatley the tumour that he had surgery on has grown back and there are more tumours growing on other parts of the brain.
James is a free spirit, father of two sons Jamie and
Luke. A true loyal friend to all the people he loves.
James has no savings as he has been unable to work, he wanted a paupers funeral but even that will cost a great deal and his family and friends would not be able to attend a service and say there goodbyes.
We would be so grateful to be able to have a small non religious service that we all could attend to pay our last respects and say goodbye to the one and only James Burden. Any donations no matter how small would be gratefully appreciated.
