Help JaeLynn Roll with the Punches

Donation protected
JaeLynn Schneider is my amazing girlfriend that I love and hold very dear. But unfortunately, A few days ago she started to pass out randomly, even while sitting down. She couldn't stay consciousness for more than a few minutes without passing out again. We took her to 3 different ERs before she was finally admitted to the hospital urgently. She is currently in a hospital trying to get results for what is going on and doctors have been unable to help improve her condition.

As a self employed freelance make up artist JaeLynn cant make money while sick, she has no sick time and no vacation time. If she isn't constantly working, unless she has saved up money, she has no money and cant make money while sick at all. Normally savings are kept for times like these: sick days, and slow times with work, due to the nature of her industry working in tv and film.

She has just recently moved into to a new place alone, so all of her savings for tough times have been used on a large security deposit plus first and last month's rent. She had been able to just get by last month with very little left in her bank account. As a result, her total bank balance is currently only $35. This has left her scared and uncertain of what she will do for February and later months or for medical bills.

When she gets discharged from the hospital we don't know how healthy she will be, and are unsure of how fast she can jump right back into freelance work again. While in the hospital, she told me something that I found funny "Work had been slow when I had first moved into my new place even before my health issues had gotten so horrible. Still, I felt ready to hit the ground running and get back to work. Instead I hit my head on the ground. Many times."

With our goal, JaeLynn will be able to support herself this month after hopefully being released from the hospital. This money will be used to cover rent for the upcoming month, utilities, and basic living expenses, including current medical bills. Any donations past that will be put toward next month's rent, medical bills she may be incurring here in the hospital that have not been sent yet, and any expenses needed to cover materials needed to get her back to work (including equipment for work, medical equipment, etc). Already dealing with current medical issues, this new illness has made everything much more difficult physically, mentally, and financially.

Family and friends are praying every day for JaeLynn to pull through and make a full recovery. We urge you to join us. Any financial support will go a long way in helping us cope through this difficult journey. No donation is too small. We encourage everyone to share JaeLynn's story on Facebook, Twitter, email, any social media and word of mouth. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

"Your help, support, and kindness is appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have so many wonderful people in my life. Every little bit helps, even if you can't donate much, sharing this, giving a little, or even just reaching out to check up on me, means so so much. Thank you." -JaeLynn

This all happened about a year ago. I am slowly learning how to live safely and independently as a disabled woman, and it's been a big adjustment. Financially, it's been overwhelming, but I have been afraid to update this account out of fear over asking for help. Now, I'm trying to find healing whether that is on my feet or in a wheelchair. Join me as I share my story and learn to love myself along the way.

This money will be used to cover rent, utilities, and basic living expenses, including current medical bills that I have not been able to pay on my own as I have been out of work due to my disability and covid 19. Any donations past that will be used to pay off my student loans, my car payments that I still have (even though I can no longer drive due to epilepsy) and past debt to pay off medical bills. If I was to exceed that goal, any profits or donations would help to put toward medical and adaptive equipment to make my home more accessible such as a wheelchair ramp for my door that is not covered by insurance.

I understand that times are tough and I ask that people only give what they can. Any bit helps, but everyone needs help right now and you all matter just as much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to read this, and for your support.
