Each day for me is very difficult, but I believe that I can win. I am thankful for every day. I will happy if you can help me share my story for support me – postcraniofacial reconvalescention, supportive treatment during chemotherapy of leukemia , flights on my next surgery in summer.
I will be grateful for any financial support via the “go fund me” web page so that I do not need to bear the entire financial burden alone.
:( Unfortunately, I must to undergo next craniofacial surgery in summer 2018 - last craniofacial stage , because is very important to help me regarding my orbital bone.

My craniofacial fight - which is my VICTORY within reach - has not only opened the door to a better future but it has mainly brought me the FEELING of having had a surgery of my skull, of having all important craniofacial bones for the first time in my life, of having a temporomandibular joint for the first time in my life, as well as mandibular and cheek bones, of hearing with my right ear for the first time in my life and of eating on the right side for the first time in my life. ( I was born without zygoma bone, mandible bone, temporomandibular joint , with microtia of my eye, and with very small of my orbital bone )
When I look back at the hard and painful journey I had to take in my craniofacial fight during the last two years, through the challenging fight with leukemia (which I have been successfully fighting against for a third time already), the demanding cardiologic fight with my arrhythmia, acute abdomen, the unfavorable attitudes of people, without support of my whole family because they refused to accept me and to help me, the death of my beloved parents and of my beloved grandpa, I AM CRYING.

The young Slovak girl Ivanka needs to undergo last craniofacial   surgery in  3 NOVEMBER  2017  in CHICAGO . She will be the first European child to go through the treatment of the Goldenhar syndrome in the United States. The costs of the postoperative craniofacial reconvalescention, flights and expesnive drugs  however reaches an unbelievable amount of 40000 USD . Ivanka has only 3 WEEKS for her hope , but doesn’t give up.

Ivanka is one of triplets and was born with the Goldenhar syndrome. The Goldenhar syndrome is an extremely rare diagnosis - hemifacial microsomia. She underwent several serious heart surgeries and is fighting serious leukemia for the second time after the death of her parents. In spite of her difficult life circumstances, Ivanka has not given up but started to fight for her chances to live a full life. Ivanka and her sisters started the campaign ´Rainbow for Ivanka´.

The campaign aim is to help children with the Goldenhar syndrome. Through this campaign, Ivanka is trying to collect money for her surgery. Ivanka successfully underwent the first 11-hour-long craniofacial surgery as well as the second craniofacial surgery that lasted 20 unbelievably long hours in the USA.

Ivanka’s chances for the third vitally important craniofacial surgery are diminishing every day. Let’s not be indifferent, don’t let Ivanka’s voice be silenced. Let’s hear her plea for a new LIFE. Let’s be part of Ivanka’s rainbow – the world will be more beautiful and colourful. To be part of the rainbow is simple.

All you need to do is to make a selfie (a photo of your face) with one half of your face covered up so that the mission of this message is clear and increases the awareness of this diagnosis through the FB network or to use the hashtag #rainbowforivanka and publish it on one of the social networks. You can send an arbitrary amount of money to support Ivanka’s fight with the disease to the following account number:

I am extremely happy that each of one  is a part Rainbow for Ivanka campaign. I highly appreciate the support and help from each and every one of you, because it is only thanks to you that my hope for LIFE can turn into reality. Thank you that you wish to be a part of my winning fight – my last vitally important craniofacial surgery in the USA. I believe I can WIN this fight thanks to you all. My biggest dream is to look at this world as a healthy ´rainbow´ child. Thank you.

I am staying in the US until November 28 since the most important thing at the moment is to have all surgery wounds on my head healed perfectly and without complications and to undergo post-craniofacial recovery with the determined demanding post-surgery pharmacological treatment. With regard to my current health condition, my flight home is scheduled for November 28. I am coming back to the US in summer for a craniofacial check to have my post-surgery condition assessed and the orbital part of my skull discussed and I will need next surgery regarding my orbital bone. I will be grateful for any financial support of the present recovery of my post-surgery condition in the US via the “go fund me” web page so that I do not need to bear the entire financial burden alone.

Hi Jo, I don't know what kind of life you live, but from what you write it's not a very happy one. You write about the pressure of paying bills and mortgages. That must be hard. Why do you judge other people who you know nothing about? Maybe the top managers donate even more than the mentioned 270 k. But some of them don't , but why should this be a problem for an ordinary employee to give 20 USD? Being rich or poor isn't a question of how much money you have on your bank account. It's a question of how you see the world around you and your future. When you see it positive, you can be generous without being anxious about what will come tomorrow and if you will have enough to survive. But when the view is negative, it's even a bigger tragedy than having nothing on your bank account.

hi, no offense to anyone, I feel sorry for this girl and wish her good luck with the surgery and in her life, but we've got an official mail in the company (IBM) to raise funds for her. Why is IBM sending a mail to ordinary employees to raise funds her, if the top management in IBM is earning several millions monthly and get yearly bonuses worth ten's of millions? They could pay the surgery with just 1 click. Ordinary employees have their families, loans, mortgages etc. so not all can contribute and if, then maybe with 10-20 USD like you see above. Why some top manager doesn't gift 270k from his/her 1 million monthly wage? Would that be such a great loss for that person? He/she would certainly make this girl very happy.
