Invest Elyria Start Up

Invest Elyria is an all-volunteer community group that focuses on the positive aspects of our city and works to implement improvements.  We have been serving our community and hosting events with only volunteers and donations since 2009.   We achieve this through having a dedicated volunteer base and by working with local businesses and charitable organizations.  Learn more about us HERE 

Now that we've grown and have a larger presence in Elyria we are seeking our official non-profit status (501c3) and event insurance so we can do bigger and better things as an organization.   

 Also, with our 501c3 status we will be able to apply for grants and make substantial differences in our community.  We are seeking to raise $1,000.00 to cover the cost of the application required by the United States Government.  

Group Event Insurance is what will allow our group to participate in public events like The Elyria Apple Festival, host events on Ely Square, and have more protection for our volunteers.  The cost of the insurance is $500.00 per year.
