Citizens for Owners' Rights assists residents in voicing concerns in the redevelopment approach of the Inlet Village.
In the case of the Lighthouse Mini-Golf Cove, the business owners attempted to change the venue approved in 2012 for a mini-golf and burger concession with 11 sears to a large sports bar and restaurant with an 82 seating capacity.
The Town of Jupiter Zoning department failed to serve proper Due Notice to abutting properties regarding the expansion on Dubois Road, depriving residents of the opportunity to oppose this unwanted expansion.
In fact it appears as if they intended to hide it from them. They posted a misleading sign regarding the removal of Conservation Land. And construction of a small pavillion and playground. This has brought very serious doubts among residents as to the Town's honesty and integrity.
By adding a restaurant next to a highly populated residential area, the Town would cause residents a serious loss of peacefull enjoyment of their property as well as loss in property value.
The Citizens for Owners' Rights, a not-for-profit organization, is assisting residents in mediating a solution or obtain relief through an injunction.
Your support will assist this important action to defend your rights as well and maintain the Inlet Village a peaceful and enjoyable place. This is not an isolated event but a repetition of deceptive practices and may need sanction and disciplinary action by Palm Beach County Jurisdiction and Court House.
Any small or larger contribution will make a difference.
