2nd Indivisible Ma Conference

Please help support Indivisible Massachusetts as we set our eyes on the 2018 midterms.
A group of committed volunteers organized a state-wide Indivisible conference in early 2017. Over 230 participants came for all sorts of great training.
It was so good, and the stakes in 2018 are so big, we want to do it AGAIN!
This conference is designed to help you up your activist game. We are bringing together Indivisible members as well as those from allied groups to collaborate and network, as well as to teach practical activism skills. We'll help new activists find groups and resources as well as teach organizing basics. We'll offer seasoned activists in-depth leadership and strategy training as well as issue expertise.
Like any great conference, we need funds to help make it happen. Just to name a few things our volunteers have/will pay for upfront:
-day of hall rental
-print outs for workshops
-onsite snacks (free to attendees)
-technical infrastructure (website, database, hosting services, video-conferencing, email marketing system, etc.)
-insurance
-legal services
-A/V equipment
-marketing the event
-travel costs for our speakers
-scholarships for those who need help paying for the event
-etc.
We are asking registrants to consider a suggested donation to help cover the costs of the event, but we don't believe in turning anyone away. The more donations we get upfront the more people we ensure can attend, and the event will go without running the Indivisible Groups fronting the costs into the red. A lot of our volunteers have already paid, some out of their own pockets and some with their group, to make this event happen.
THIS IS YOUR 15 SECONDS OF HEROISM! If you can't make it day of, please consider supporting us so that someone else will be able. The conference is on November 12 , so the faster we raise our funds the less we can worry about money and focus on the things that really matter.
