Vietnam Vet - Army 82nd Airborne Division needs your help!
Only a few short months after his twin sister lost her battle with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), Larry was diagnosed with a very advanced stage of lung cancer attributed to his exposure to Agent Orange. Since his diagnosis last March, he received a round of chemo once/week and radiation every day for 7 weeks. He has been hospitalized 6 times in the past 4 months with each stay not knowing if he would be coming home. Working up until he couldn't any longer, Larry has needed 24 hour care since this all began & between his wife, and his 2 daughters, they have been able to juggle their schedules to accommodate his needs thus far. His 90 year old mother came out from Nevada to help out and was able to stay for a few months but needed to return home. Any of you that have been affected by cancer know all too well how unpredictable the disease is and how long & painful the recovery is. The family has pulled together to meet his every need to date and keep it a private matter per his wishes but now have exhausted all of their combined resources to continue his care without any outside help.
Larry continues to need 24 hour care and with his NUMEROUS doctor appointments, medicines, physical therapy & dietary needs, the family is in need of your help.




Currently, his days consist of an extraordinary medication regiment, breathing treatments, oxygen, constant monitoring, force feeding, and is completely unpredictable making it impossible to plan anything (even a trip to town for food & necessities) or stick to a routine. Each day is different, a new pain, a new complication, more needs and less resources.
The family has been doing the best to stay positive for Larry and continue to meet all of his needs without letting him know the financial strains it has put on those trying to get him well. With no way of knowing how much longer it will take for him to recover and get back on his feet, the family is now in the position of needing any and all help they are offered.
Those of you who know Larry, you know he would NEVER ask anyone for help, he is too proud - which is why the family hasn't done so. Now, there is no choice because the bills are never ending and becoming too overwhelming.
Larry fought for our country - he fought for OUR freedom - let's pull together to salute a vet and fight for him!!
