Help Illinois Flood Victims

Donation protected
A year-end storm dumped as much as 14 inches of rain on portions of Illinois, sending rivers over their banks and causing widespread damage in some areas of the state. The Illinois REALTORS® Relief Foundation  (IRRF)  is taking donations to help those in the stricken areas which are scattered throughout southern and central Illinois.

IRRF is the non-profit, 501(c)(3)
charitable arm of the Illinois Asociation of REALTORS® which helps with disaster recovery. The foundation works to provide housing assistance and other aid to those in affected areas.

Donations through this campaign will be earmarked to the flood relief effort relating to this storm system. The money will be used as part of a program that, for example, provides funds to defray the costs of paying rent or mortgages, assists with transportation costs and other living expenses incurred by flood victims.

Based in the state capital of Springfield, Ill., IRRF has provided assistance in the past for a wide range of events since its formation, including relief for tornado victims. The more than 43,000 REALTORS® in Illinois take seriously serving the community, and the IRRF was established to further the Illinois Association of REALTORS® mission of service.
