Transport of donations to Kenya

Hello! my name is Alvin Makori.
I am currently entering 12th grade, and I recently founded a nonprofit organization, Hugs For Kenya. This organization is dedicated to providing supplies and money to underprivileged youths in Kenya. Through supply drives across multiple schools in the Wooster (OH) City School District, Hugs for Kenya has already collected over 1900 pounds of school supplies, books, clothes, and toiletries from donors. All donations will go toward orphanages and primary schools in Kenya, including Blessed Generation Children's Home in Nyamira, Kenya. However, to ship these supplies to Kenya is quite expensive, and costs $220 per box. To aid these needy children, we ask for a financial donation from you. This organization relies heavily on the community to achieve its mission of providing hope to young Kenyan children, and I am comforted by any donation amount, knowing someone cares for lives other than their own. Having the ability to change the lives of others has always been my life's goal, and this is why Hugs for Kenya means so much to me. With my parents being from Kenya, I feel a personal connection to the poverty that a bulk of the polulation lives in. I will be thankful for any donations, not becuase it will benefit me, but because it will benefit children who are yet to see a new way of life.
