We Live in littleton Colorado and the funds we raise will be used to build this playground we are also working on grants as well and doing whatever it takes to raise the funds for this playground. All money raised will be used in the purchasing of equipment to build this adaptive playground see more detils below. When we raise the funds this will be a comminuty build which means we will not hire a company we will let those of you who helped us raise the funds help us build it as well. Equipment will be purchased thru foothills connections & Playlsi.com We have the pleasure of partnering with Foothills Park & Recration who has pledged the location of Shaffer park located at the corner of Kipling and Hampden Ave.

We are building an inclusive playground to address the needs of ALL PEOPLE, including those who have autism. Intellectual disabilities, hearing impairments, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, sensory processing disorders, and others. It also addresses the needs of typical children. This playground will accomodate everyone and challenges them at their own developmental level. It will be one that invites and welcomes everyone with a grand super hero fashion!
Everyone meaning:
Typically Developing Children
Children with Neurological Disabilities, such as autism
Children with Intellectual Disabilities, such as down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, etc.
Children who require wheelchairs or other medical equipment
children with physical disabilities
children with social and/or emotional difficulties
Family, Siblings, Parents, Grandparents, etc.
Community Members; friends, caregivers, teachers, etc.
Adults with disabilities.
