Henriquez Family Wildfire Recovery

Donation protected
We are students who currently attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Recently, there was a wildfire that overtook the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. One of our close friends Billy Henriquez and his family lost everything including their home of eight years on Monday, November 28, 2016. They are now homeless. His family does not have any relatives to turn to as they all currently live in Honduras. We want to assist the Henriquez family by coming together to ask for donations of any kind to help Billy and his family so they can make it through the winter season. If at all possible, any and all amounts that can be donated are greatly appreciated. The funds are needed as soon as possible and will go towards the bare essentials, including:

•Food and Water

•Housing

•Clothing

•Toiletries

•Diapers

Billy has always been there for us, so we’re doing our best to help him and his family through this unimaginable, difficult situation. Again, we are immensely grateful for any and all help. Please share Billy’s story and keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Additional Information:

There are a total of eight people who live in his household, three of whom are small children. If you have any clothing that you could spare, there is a 7 year-old girl who wears a small-size shirt and size 7 pants, a 4 year-old boy who wears size 6 shirts and pants, and a two year old girl who wears size 3 shirts and pants.
