Mexico Earthquake Help

Mexico has suffered 2 earthquakes in the last 2 weeks and unfortunately it has hit in the poorest areas in Mexico including Oaxaca, Cuernavaca and Mexico City. The people who have been the most affected are people with very little to no resources and the help is just not getting to them due to corrupt government. My roots being from mexico I felt useless. So I looked for a transparent group with their charity events who give food and daily essentials to the people who need it the most. Where I came across the rotary group who help people with the money from their own pocket. We are really privileged of where we live, but unfortunately not everyone is as fortunate as us. Which is why I have started this campaign with the help of family and friends to get the help to the people who need it the most. Any help is appreciated. Even if you can't donate anything I do ask that you keep everyone who has suffered from these nature events in your prayers and next time you go on a trip, please visit Mexico as they need an economy boost to help with the rebuilding the city.
My name is mariana Hernandez I live in Toronto and I will be sending the money to the rotary groups who bring food and daily essentials to the affected people. I will be withdrawing the money and personally seeing that it gets to the hands it was meant for. These are people I know and where my husband as his family have gone to help deliver these essentials to poor communities.
The money that is being collected will be sent to the rotaries in the region of Toluca which is a 20 min drive from Mexico City They are buying medical supplies , food, daily necessities and anything that is required at the time.
The rotaries work with full transparency and I am 100% sure that this is the best way to know that our efforts is going to the people who are in desperate need. The money will be transferred to them as soon as possible so that the help will get to where it needs to get as soon as possible.
We have friends in this association where hay too are putting their own money at the time to get what is needed. But it is not enough, the disaster and the aftermath is still happening. People have yet to be found and brought out from under the blocks of concrete where they are trapped.
