Trichotillomania is an impulse control disorder categorised by a compulsive urge to pull out your own hair. It is often done to elevate stress or to achieve some sort of satisfaction. Severe cases can lead to extreme hair loss and balding. Often triggered by depression and stress, long-term sufferers experience feelings of anxiety, humiliation, decreased self-esteem and shame. They are often compelled to hide their bald patches with scarfs, hats, wigs and hair extensions, or simply isolate themselves from the community.

We are a successful salon in Melbourne Australia that specialises in providing solutions for people dealing with Trichotillomania,  All of our hair is sourced from premium Russian and European stock, for longevity and we are commitmented to only purchasing premium hair.
This hair is then hand made into our unique TrichoMesche system.

Due to our niche market and being leaders in this field, a number of our clientele also incur travelling and accommodation expenses, which we often provide discounted services and education in order to help them achieve their dreams.

We provide a full service (from consultation, to installation and regular reinstallations) process which generally last 12 months, however regular reinstallations are required as their natural hair grows. Often at the end of this time  our fabulous clients become "pull free"! 

We are raising money to provide this service, (reduced prices, assistance with travel and accommodation expenes) and allow our interstate clientele to achieve this, which would be unaffordable to them otherwise..  

This funding is requested to provide the services for an extended period of time, whereby some of our clientele will not be able to afford travel and accommodation expensens, or are on government benefits (which with increased self-confidence and decreased social anxiety may assst them in obtaining employment), .

This means a lot to us, as you may see from our website or Facebook page...... The difference it makes in people's lives, confidence and mental health is enormous.
