For over 100 years, Milford Catholic Elementary School (MCES) has been providing quality education and teaching faith-based life lessons that help children develop into well-rounded adults.

Recently, declining enrollment and associated financial difficulties have resulted in the School Board proposing permanent closure of MCES. The Board has agreed to allow the school to continue operating if enrollment and fundraising goals are met by June 16, 2017.

The current enrollment of 67 full and part-time students must rise to 107 and $285,000 needs to be raised to assist in funding MCES’ operations.

Past and present MCES families, teachers, alumni, the School Board and community supporters are working diligently together in order to meet both the enrollment and fundraising goals so we can save MCES.

We are making headway, but we still need YOUR help!

We are asking for your charitable donation* so that Milford Catholic Elementary School is not lost forever.

In the unlikely event, that the commitments that we need to make in order to keep the school open are not met, the funds collected electronically will be redistributed equally into the following important organizations:

-1/3; equally distributed between the two school parishes of Sacred Heart and St. Mary's
-1/3; The Steward’s Foundation, a new 501c3 organizations whose purpose is to raise funds to provide student scholarships and eventually help with construction
-1/3; Daily Bread Food Pantry
