Zachary's urgent medical treatment

Donation protected
My name is Suzette Cereghino.  What I am about to share is not easy. I have always been a very private person.  And so has Zachary.  We are reaching out to our community of friends and family because there has never been a truer time of need for our family.

As most of you know my sweet boy has been missing for over 2 yrs.  Zero contact with any friends or family.  One year ago I heard briefly from him via a local medical center. He soon disappeared before I could get to him. On Monday an angel who saw one of the flyers that I had posted looking for him called me because she thought it might be Zack was outside the Seattle public library.

Praise God it was him.   I found him nearly starved to death.  He has been completely homeless on the streets for over a year. Even the doctors at Harborview were in shock at how his level of malnutrtion.  It has reminded me of the POW's returning home.  His drug tox screen at Harborview came up abnormal. He ate from garbage cans and thank god for the people who left food and water for him.

Zachary apparently had a complete breakdown along with drug addiction after losing his job, home, (what he thought -friends and family. )  Of which we all know we ALL love him and want him.  He was heart broken,  ashamed, embarrassed and lost.  As time went by with no shelter, no hope, no food, no shoes and barely any clothing he got lost inside his mind.

The horror and hell he has endured is unimaginable.  Since Monday he has been literally constantly eating double meals, snacks, and drinking tons of milk and water he has regained his ability to talk and put together his thoughts.

He has expressed so much remorse, shame and regret. He has owned (voluntarily because I don't care about blame what so ever I am so glad he's alive and safe) that he made some bad choices, he expressed his feelings that he has ruin everything.

He thinks it is too late for him, (I tell him 100 times a day that it is not too late, and that I love him, that there is hope) he is in complete fear of having to go back out on the streets. He wants help and asks for it frequently.  He wants his brain and mind fixed, He wants a dog and home.  Most of all he wants his family and relationships. He hadn't had real human contact (touch) in over a year. I can't stop kissing him and holding him.

Zachary has always been a sweet and tender soul from the beginning.  He is brilliant and loving. He recieved a scholarship for the school of mathematics, science and the arts for his junior and senior if high school.  He has an amazing sense of humor and has always been loved and  well liked by everyone who meets him. Sadly he doesn't believe it.

With the treatment program it will show him the truth- that he is loved, likable,, wanted and has a purpose.

What we need now is funds.

He is now in a short term state funded treatment. Only 14 days, and it doesn't give  him the time or much needed type of treatment that he really needs.

I have less than 2 weeks to raise $30,000. 00 so he can go to a center that will provide intensive therapy to get to the root of the things that brought him to this place so it doesnt happen again, provides life coping skills and tools,  it will also strongly address the drugs issue and help him develop self love and transition back into a healthy day to day life in the real world.

I humbly ask you to donate as much as you can, anything you can.

Thank you for helping to save my sons life. You are heroes.

Please keep Zachary in your prayers- To give him healing, strength and peace. Please pray for me, Lenny (his dad) and Patrick (his step-dad) to have the strength and wisdom to do the right and best for our boy.

I am sharing the link via emails and have decided to share this on Facebook. Please  also share the link privately to those who you think can help.

Also I will be starting a private program for serving our communities most vulnerable of vulnerable homeless people. Those who can't make it to shelters and food kitchens for what ever reason. The mentally ill homeless. This was my Zack..he mentally couldn't figure it out. If you are interested in being a part of this please email me at [email redacted].
