Currently, Nepal is suffering from a devastating flood.
Since we all are originally from Nepal, it is our duty to help the victims. So, a social activist Surendra Chaudhary has started a fundraising campaign from a network of our friends to help these people. We will be sending the collected money to Nepal's local social non-prfit making organization or a group of volunteers. To decide where to send the money a six membered informal committee has been formed which will decide where to send the money. The members of this committee includes: Tilak Mahato (Arizona), Surendra Chaudhary (Illinois), Satya Chaudhary (Illinois), Nenu Lal Chaudhary (Illinois), Ram Lakhan Singh Tharu (California), Deepak Chaudhary (New York). The committee has decided that the first priority will be given to the family who has lost their life, second priority will be given to those who are injured and also to those who has lost their property due to flood. The collected amount will be sent to Nepal immediately. The committee has an agreement that money will be transferred to 'Bibekshil Tharu Yuwa Samuha' which means 'Conscientious Tharu Youth Circle' in English who is working at victim's vilages and providing necessary support. Thier work is attached in this story. We will send the collected money to this group and they will transfer this money in the form of necessary goods to the victims. Since Surendra Chaudhary is from this place, he knows all the volunteers working in this group. They will send the photo of the handing over of the goods which will be publicly reported to all the donors. This group has done good work in this flood victims rescue program. So, we are supporting this group.
Since this is completely a volunteer effort from a group of people and using gofundme platform so that it will be easy to collect money from our friends living at different places in the USA. Our six membered committee has agreed that all the money will be transfered to Surendra Choudhary's personal account who initiated this fund raising campaign and then will be transferred to Nepal for the Flood Victims. Money will be transferred to Nepal via Western Union or MoneyGram. All the donors will be informed about the transfer process of collected funds.
