Help A Student Finish University

Donation protected
My name is Alex Wong Wai and I am an international student at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah GA. I am from a small island in the Caribbean and this is my third year at university. Where I am from, the educational focus is science and business; nothing close to the arts. My dream is to be a costume designer which is my major here at SCAD. When I was younger, I was lucky enough to find a small "sewing school" which jumped started my passion for costume. There was only a small group of us, my little sister included, and I learned to pattern draft and sew on a broken door balancing on two stools.
Sewing is everything to me but that was simply a hobby then. I graduated high school at 16 and moved on to start a degree in English (the closest I could get to a creative degree in my country). But something felt like it was missing. There was an add for a fashion show competition that my sister and I wanted to do as we shared the same passion for designing. We were the youngest competitors (I was 16 and my sister was 14, the others were 21+). We won and were promised a $3,000 reward. With this promise, I applied to SCAD, hoping the reward could help kickstart my journey to go into costume design as a profession. I was accepted, but the money never came. By then my parents knew they had to let me follow my heart and they borrowed money from my mom's sisters to sponsor me so I could start my degree here. I came in as a sophomore and now I currently have 5 more quarters (3 months each) to finish my degree. I am trying to raise tuition for spring quarter which will give me time to apply for current student scholarships at my school in April.
It has been such a dream pursuing my passion at SCAD. My little sister is one year away from being able to apply to this school and follow in my footsteps. This is why it was so heartbreaking when I found out that my parents racked up so much debt that they could not get any more loans. They reached out to my aunts to help and only one is doing her very best (as she is retiring soon) to help with supplies. The others turned their back on my mom, telling her that "we signed up for way more than we could handle" or that "it was a worthless degree anyway". My grandparents offered to pay for the next quarter but although I am grateful, it hurts me that they are using their life's savings for this. They are all very hopeful but I could tell they simply can't afford to keep me here.
I feel like I have to finish this degree, not only because it is my dream but also because I have to help my parents pay off their debt after I graduate. If I do not finish, I go home without a degree and I won't even be able to get a job to help them. They are only in debt because of me and now my little sister is robbed of her dream. Please, I would be extremely grateful if you can help me. I don't know if I can live with myself if I have to go home with everyone close to me in debt because of me and nothing to show for it. If you can't give, I would really appreciate if you share this with your friends and family. Thank you so much for your time and your contributions.
