Kapil is an ambitious software engineer with big dreams for life. He is hardworking, family guy. He lives in Bangalore, India with his family. In February 2014 his daughter Janya was diagnosed with brain tumor and was treated at Apollo hospital, Bangalore, India. She has the reoccurrence of Primitive Neuro Ectodermal tumor and is in Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of Apollo hospitals following prolonged seizure as of April 2015.
Kapil himself was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme(WHO Grade IV) in June 2014 after a fall from a bike. He was treated with External beam radiotherapy and 9 sessions of chemotherapy at Apollo hospitals, Bangalore. His general condition deteriorated and was advised MRI. MRI shows reoccurrence of disease as of April 2015.
The father-daughter are bravely fighting cancer. Seema, Kapil's wife is supporting both her life lines confidently. Their story was covered in Bangalore mirror in February 2015.
