Help Jeff Get Back on His Feet

On May 6, 2016, Jeff Rhodie was a victim of a hit and run while skateboarding down Meeting Street. The person who hit him, left him and his friend Sam unconcious in the middle of the street and drove away.  Basically leaving them for dead. This awful human being has yet to be found.  Not to mention the fact that Charleston County Police Department is doing ABSOLUTELY nothing to find them.

Jeff suffered a massive break to is right leg, fracturing both the the tibia and the fibula. This required emergency surgery, using rods and screws to rebuild his leg. This has left him unable to walk, without the help of a walker. He also had major damage to his right ear, including losing a good chunk of cartilage and a blown ear drum.  

Because of the severity of his injuries, Jeff hasn't been able to work since the accident.  He will have to undergo extensive physical therapy in order to walk again without the aid of a walker. According to the orthopeadic specialist, he will not be able to begin physical therapy until July. On top of being out of work, he also did not have health insurance at the time of this awful accident. Medical bills are starting to pile up and will only get worse from here. 

Jeff is one of the most caring and loving people I've ever met. He always goes out of his way to help anyone he can. I'm hoping we can all come together and help him through this awful time in his life. He deserves that and so much more. His brothers and I wanted to set up this page without his knowledge because we love him and know he would never ask anyone for help.  I know he will be forever grateful for any and all help that our friends and family can offer.
