Help Brenli Sharp
Yesterday at around 8:30 pm my wife Cadi-Nichole Sharp was walking our daughter Brenli into the house. When they stepped up onto the porch and attempted to open the door Brenli was struck twice by a Rattlesnake. My wife stated the rattlesnake did not make his presence known until after striking our daughter and was unable to be seen. Cadi was able to get Brenli In the car and to Hospital quickly so she could receive life saving anti venom.
Brenli has received several doses of the anti venom. Doctors voiced there concerns and advised they wanted Brenli transported to Cooks children hospital in Fort Worth to receive specialized treatment due to her age. This is currently where we are at and at this point. The swelling has stopped, but has not began to subside.
The problem we are having is the insurance may not cover the anti-venom. Anything you can donate wold be greatly appreciated. I just want my family to not worry about bills when they should be worrying about Brenli. Even If you can't donate money, please donate your prayers, or your time sharing this will help us greatly. Thank you for anything given in advance no matter if it was prayers, best wishes, or money. All proceeds will go directly to Brenli.
If you would like a t-shirt to show your support you can buy one here, these funds also go to brenli's medical bills.
I read this in an article and it made tear up. I just never imagined this would happen to us. Please continue to support us if you are able to, at the very least we need prayers. I am really nervous about Brenlis appointment today. Not only for the blood work being good but also what her foot looks like. We haven't seen it in two days due to the type of dressing applied. I praying all blood is normal and wounds looks good! Last night was the first time since we came home Brenli seemed to be in pain, after some Tylenol and some cuddles it seemed to subside enough for her to sleep. She is such a strong little girl and keeps me strong. I keep telling myself "look at her, you have an amazing resilient daughter, you can do this" Since coming home the phrase "financial turmoil" comes to mind quite often with some major anxiety. I keep researching costs of snakebite hospital stays and to be quit frank the answers make me sick to my stomach. Once again please continue praying, thinking about is, supporting us, being aware that snakes are out! I don't wish this on anyone!
