While others run from danger, the heroic staff and volunteers of AAMIN AMBULANCE run towards it.
Despite decades of violence and the subsequent exodus of doctors and other health professionals, Aamin Ambulance is committed to delivering FREE first aid to Somalis who have little to no help from the government. They offer first aid but also transport survivors to the hospital and the deceased to morgues with dignity.They need improved communications, more medical supplies, better vehicles, more workers if they are to provide the desperately needed emergency response that Somalis need.

Who we are:
We are a Swedish-Somali activist and British -Somali novelist who want to support the people of Mogadishu after a terrible attack. Friends and family were among those who who lost their lives in last weekend's terrorist attack in the capital city of Somalia, Mogadishu.
Where we're from:
We are based in London and Stockholm. Abdi leads a group of young Somalis, mostly students and young professionals that live in Sweden & who tirelessly work hard to give back to their home country, Somalia. They are a volunteer-based student group.
Funds:
As you know, on October 14th, 2017 , two trucks full of explosives went off in Mogadishu killing nearly 350 innocent people and wounding more than 200 people. With this fund, our goal is to spend it on the free emergency response services which have been vital to saving lives in Somalia. Unfortunately, many lives were lost due to lack of medical supplies, lack of fully-functioning ambulances, and lack of proper medical transportations. But this fund, We want to repair the ambulances, upgrade the radio equipment for the ambulance vehicles, and fully equip them stretchers, monitors, sterile medical supplies.
We have a direct contact with the head of AAMIN AMBULANCE SERVICES, Dr. Abdulkadir Aden who is currently on the ground right now transporting wounded survivors, some of whom have been found under the collapsed buildings. Once the money reaches the target amount, we will withdraw that money and it into their Premier Bank account immediately.
