$2,000 of $3,500 goal

Raised by 48 people in 8 months

Hi everyone!

I'm Steve Behrens, owner of 67 Music, Celtic Music Media and Promotions and host of our web TV show The Celtic Music Journal.  www.67music.net/celtic-music-journal
Many of you are familiar with me and what we do. For those unfamiliar with us, please visit our website at www.67music.net and also our impressive YouTube channel,  www.youtube.com/user/sixtysevenmusic to see examples of all that we do.

We are in desperate need of a new camera and computer. As we celebrate our tenth year anniversary this year, a decade's worth of still photos and hundreds of hours of video have taken their toll over the years. Our camera died last February and our computer is on it's last legs now. We're lucky they served us as long as they have.

We're a visual medium in what we do, so this new equipment is vital to do our job promoting Celtic artists all over the world and informing & entertaining our audience with the best in Celtic music with interviews, video performances and of course, The Celtic Music Journal.

It is genuinely our passion to promote the artists and music they create and to share with our audiences. We wish to continue on with the quality entertainment, news and other media you've come to know and expect from 67 Music.

I hope you can help any way you can and I also ask that you share this GoFundMe campaign with all your friends and contacts. Thank you in advance.

Best Regards and Slainte,
~Steve

Hi everyone!
Now that's it's 2019 and this campaign is already 7 months old I thought I'd share one last update and end the campaign.
I'm very happy and excited to report that thanks to your generosity I've made it to $1,910 of my $3,500 goal. I thank all of you who have contributed~some of you even twice! I truly appreciate it.
I believe I've found the computer I need. I'm still a bit flummoxed with my camera situation, though. I've been looking for small feature-packed point & shoot style with a fully articulated LCD viewing screen but can't really find one yet.
I'm really ready to go on the computer and it's a good thing because recently I've lost capability to access my emails and perform other simple tasks. To get by I use someone else's & that gets old as you can imagine. I can sort the camera thing out soon.
So as I mentioned I thought I'd give this campaign one final push. If you've not yet contributed, please consider helping us out. Any amount is welcome, every dollar helps. Or if you're not able to, please consider sharing this around with friends and acquaintances who might be interested.
It's my sincere goal and passion to get 2019 off strong with new equipment, keep The Celtic Music Journal going and keep on promoting all the amazing talent out there. Who knows, it could be YOU haha!
Thanks again everyone for your fantastic support!
Regards and Slainte,
-Steve

Hello everyone! It's been a long while since I posted an update on my campaign...
In the spirit of #GivingTuesday then, I'd like to say- thanks to a LOT of you I have enough funds to find myself a camera, but I'm still far off for the computer we need. (I havent found exactly the camera I'm looking for but the funds are there.) So if you or someone you know would be interested in contributing (or even feel like donating again) now's a great time. The year's almost over & I'd love to begin 2019 with much needed equipment. The Celtic Music Journal is in a kind of flux until a computer can be sorted out and taking pics with my 4 year old cellphone isn't really cutting it.
So thats where we stand as of this update. Thanks for reading and do please share around!
Many thanks to you all,
Steve☘

Hi all!
It's been too long for an update. My bad. I've been rather busy and distracted....
So 67 Music had its10th Anniversary Party on Sept. 8th and by all accounts it was a wonderful time. That party took John and I 8 months to put together. I know I was overwhelmed with the turnout and love from all who attended. I hope those of you who could not attend saw and enjoyed the fb live videos. The Stout Pounders were so fun (as ever) and the session afterwards was epic.
So as of this update we sit at $1,425 of my $$3,500 goal. I've got a great start from a lot of you and again I thank all of you who've contributed already from the bottom of my heart. It's not easy for me to ask for 'charity' but I must admit I'm happy thus far with the love and support you have shown. I have a great start (and still need to sort out a camera) but the bigger issue is I'm still struggling and limping along with an outdated and tired computer, so I do hope to reach my goal sooner than later. There's a lot at stake~ from moving ahead with the web show The Celtic Music Journal, to simple everyday and regular postings on social media networks. I'm always keeping in my mind when it all will give out on me...
If you've already given, again thank you. Some of you have even given twice which is amazing. All I can say is perhaps share this around in an effort to raise more funds.
I'll keep it going as long as I feel there's hope, and I do feel hope!
Slainte, ~Steve
